In August of 2021, I purchased a decrepit, rusty, could of been delivered in a dustpan, 1963 Chevrolet C10 stepside pickup. The truck was in such poor condition that the only way to get it off the flat bed truck was to tie it to a tree and drive away. Without any experience, I have transformed this truck from a non-running, very rusty, destined for the junk yard piece of yard art, into a running and driving truck. I've learned how to rebuild an engine and a transmission, learned how to weld, bleed brakes, recover the seats, move the gas tank, do bodywork, and paint while performing a frame-off restoration of this truck. The project is not completed. There is much more work to do.
Subscribe to my youtube channel and watch me as I finish the transformation and present the finished truck at the C10 Nationals in Nashville in October of 2025.
Once this project is finished, I have two more projects ready to go. A 1990 Chevrolet SS 454 pickup that needs an engine and transmission rebuild, and a refresh on the interior and the paint as well as a 1971 Datsun 510 station wagon that needs a full restoration.
